The Story
A spectacular lavalier pendant necklace from the Art Nouveau (ca1910s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this necklace begins with a dainty cable chain, which secures with a simple spring ring clasp. The chain is accompanied by a lavalier pendant, which is encrusted with bead-set paste stones. The lavalier incorporates lovely swirls and curves, and the center of the pendant features a single pearl. The bottom-half of the lavalier features three chain extensions, which are represented by paste-stones, and give the piece lovely movement. The bottom of the piece features an additional extension, which is ended by a large bezel-set paste stone. A fantastic piece, this pendant necklace would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurements:Â The chain has a total length of 16". The lavalier has a length of 2" and a width of 1 3/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver chain or pendant. All of the paste stones, and the central pearl are all secure and intact. The spring ring clasp is secure and in working order.
