A wonderful and creativeĀ pendant/charm from the Vintage (ca1960s) era! This lovely pieceĀ is crafted in 14k yellow gold and has a moveable, three-dimensional design. The charmĀ represents a miniature old-fashionedĀ hourglass, which has a glass interior held within a tall yellow gold stand.Ā The hourglass is filled with fine white sand inside, which filters through the fluted center when flipped upside down. Stamped on the underside of the stand is a "14K" purity mark and the letters "JMT".Ā The piece is topped by a simple gold bail, which would allow the piece to easily attach to a favorite chain or charm bracelet. This pendant/charm would make a splendid addition to any vintage jewelry collection!
Measurements:Ā The pendant/charm hangs 1" long (including the bail). The piece has a width of just over 1/4".
Condition:Ā The overall condition of the pendant/charm is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, glass interior, or sand, which is contained and intact. TheĀ bail is secure and in working order.
