A charming horseshoe pendant necklace from the Victorian (ca1896) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this piece begins with a sterling silver cable chain, which secure with a simple lobster claw clasp marked "925". The chain is centered by a large horseshoe pendant. The front of the pendant is adorned with raised marquise-shaped details, and the exterior of the horseshoe is decorated with small sterling silver three-dimensional balls. The backside of the pendant is stamped "LS & C", and with 3 small hallmarks which include the letter "m", an anchor, and a lion. The hallmarks indicated that the piece was crafted in 1896 in Birmingham, England. A fantastic piece, this pendant necklace would be perfect for any equestrian or antique jewelry enthusiast!
Measurements: The pendant hangs 1" long and has a width of 1 1/16". The chain has a total length of 17 1/2".
Condition: The pendant necklace is in excellent condition. There is no apparent damage to the sterling silver chain or pendant, and the lobster claw clasp is secure and in working order.
