An absolutely charming padlock pendant necklace from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This delightful piece is crafted in 14k yellow gold, and begins with a gold, braided chain. The chain secures with a spring ring clasp, which is stamped: "14K". The center of the piece features a padlock-motif pendant, which is decorated with a bezel-set quartz cabochon. the front surface of the padlock pendant is further adorned with swirling-motif engravings, and the backside features an oval-shaped frame, which would allow the wearer to insert a small photograph or memento. The top of the pendant features a bail, which allows the piece to easily slide along the chain.
