A wonderful and romantic pendant/charm from the Vintage (ca1960s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this pendant/charm depicts two kissing birds sitting atop a perch. The torsos of the birds are represented by prong-set oval-cut amethysts, which display a lovely purple hue. The eyes of the birds are represented by bezel-set rubies, which display a luscious red hue. Below the perch is an oval-shaped "basket", which is filled with small pearls. The pearls display a milky-white luster and resemble eggs! The top of the piece features a complimentary bail, which would allow the pendant/charm to easily attach to a favorite chain or bracelet! The bottom of the piece is marked with a personal engraving which reads: "11-10-61". The backside of the pendant/charm is stamped "14K". A fantastic piece, this pendant/charm would be a fantastic addition to any Retro-era jewelry collection!
Measurements:Ā The charmĀ hangsĀ 1" long (including the bail) and has a width of 3/4".
Condition:Ā The overall condition of the pendant/charm is excellent. There is no damage to the gold setting, and all of the stones are secure and intact. The bail is intact and in working order.
