A beautiful and unique beaded necklace! This lovely piece features a row of rutilated quartz crystal beads, which are strung on white cord. The quartz varies in color and shape, and features translucent brown and white, with natural needle-like inclusions of brown colored rutile that almost appear to "float," as though suspended inside. The variations of rutile within the quartz is fantastic, providing a wonderful eye-catching effect as light passes through the beads. Resting in between each quartz bead is a small translucent disc-bead. The necklace fastens in the back with a 14k yellow gold push clasp. The push clasp is accompanied by a figure eight safety mechanism to provide extra security. The tongue of the push clasp is marked "14K". This unique design is perfect for any rutilated quartz lover, and would make a lovely everyday necklace!
Measurements: The necklace measures approximately 15 1/2" long.
Condition: The overall condition of the necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the rutilated quartz beads, all of which are securely strung. The gold push clasp and figure eight safety are both secure and in good working condition.
