A striking engagement ring by Brooklyn-based jeweler, Wood & Sons, J.R., from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in sleek platinum, this engagement ring features a central, bezel-set 1.80ct old mine cushion cut diamond. The diamond is simply mesmerizing, displaying L color and VS2 clarity, and is surrounded by a pill-shaped centerpiece, which is further encrusted with sparkling stones. The bead-set single cut diamonds which adorn the centerpiece display H/I color and VS1-SI1 clarity, and have an approximate total carat weight of .30ctw. The centerpiece also features dainty milgrain-detailing and subtle geometric cutouts. Each shoulder of the band features a singular, bead-set single cut diamond, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank is marked with the Wood & Sons, J.R. signature and hallmark, and a "100% IRID PLAT" purity mark. A breathtaking engagement ring, this piece would be perfect for any special upcoming engagement or proposal!
