A rare and unusual pair of cufflinks from the Vintage (ca1960) era! Crafted in sterling silver, each double-sided cufflink has two carved mother of pearl stones with a "Man in the Moon" motif. The recognizable design has intricately carved facial features, giving the faces a 3-dimensional appearance. The mother of pearl stones display a beautiful white iridescent hue, and flash when turned in the light. The carved stones are bezel set and separated by a sterling silver bar at the center. Stamped inside each cufflink is "CY 925". A very unique pair of cufflinks, they could be worn by a woman or man, and would make a special addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each cufflink face has a 1/2" diameter and is approximately 1/4" thick. The cufflinks measure 1" long overall from end to end.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting or mother of pearl stones, which are secure and intact.
