The Story
A gorgeous signed Spratling wood and sterling ring from the 1960’s! This vintage piece is made of rose wood, which is set within a sterling silver frame. The band graduates in width and displays lovely deep brown wood. Set in the face of the ring are 13 sterling silver beads that graduate in size. The inside shank of the ring is stamped with the Spratling hallmark from circa 1965 which is "WILLIAM SPRATLING TAXCO MEXICO" in a circle surrounding the Spratling hallmark as well as an eagle with “65” stamped into its center. It's a fantastic vintage piece that makes a bold statement when worn. It would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The band measures 5/16” wide at the smallest point, and 3/8” wide at the largest point. It has a finger size 8.25 but could possibly be sized slightly if desired.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling and wood setting or to the sterling balls.
