The Story
A beautiful sapphire and diamond ring from the Vintage (ca1950s) era! Crafted in platinum, this gorgeous ring features a central round cut sapphire, which is held within a four-prong setting, and has a carat weight of 1.25ct. The sapphire displays a lovely deep, rich blue hue, and the stone is nestled between two baguette diamonds. The diamonds are channel set, and have an approximate total carat weight of .35ctw. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped "900 PLAT" and "8063". A marvelous piece, this ring would make a lovely and colorful engagement ring!
Measurements:Â The ring has a finger size of 5.25Â could be easily re-sized. The band measures 1.8mm wide.
Condition:Â The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting, and the sapphire and diamonds are secure and intact.
