The Story
A beautiful star sapphire ring from the vintage (ca1960) era! This stunning ring features a large star sapphire cabachon that is held within an open back bezel setting. Made of 14k yellow gold, the ring has a fairly wide ribbed band that tapers in size towards the shank. The sapphire center displays a fantastic deep-blue color and faint star refraction, with an approximate carat weight of 2ctw. This spectacular piece is nice and weighty and perfect for anyone looking for a substantial sapphire!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 5 but could easily be re-sized. The band measures 13.09mm at widest and 3.55mm at the shank.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and the star sapphire is intact and secure within its setting.
