A beautiful heart-motif locket pendant from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in sterling silver, this piece depicts a heart-motif locket, which is engraved with an original monogram. The locket opens and closes with a hidden clasp at the side of the piece, and two photographs are held within the interior frames, but could easily be removed. The inside of the locket is also stamped "STERLING", "L&M", and "PAT. OCT. 21, 1902". The top of the locket features a bail, which would allow it to glide easily along any chain. A fabulous and romantic piece, this locket pendant would make a great addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!
Measurements: The heart locket has a width of 1 1/8" and a height of 1 1/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver locket, which opens and closes securely. Note: This locket is not accompanied by a chain.
