The realistic appearance includes sculpted features, a textured mane, and individual facial features. Its hooves rest above a textured platform at the base. The detail of the three-dimensional image is simply exceptional, displaying excellent Victorian craftsmanship. In the middle of the horse's back is a silver loop (stamped 835), perfect for hanging the piece from a favorite chain. Stamped on the side of its body is a small "AUSTRIA" mark.
