ThisĀ beautiful cat pin from theĀ Victorian (ca1880) era is such a wonderful piece! Made ofĀ 14kt yellow gold, the pin is incredibly detailed, representing a 3-dimensional collared cat walking. The intricately etched design represents the cat's fur and facial features, including its whiskers, nose, mouth, and ears, with two small rubiesĀ represent each of the cat's eyes. Wrapped around its neck is a silver-topped collar lined with sparkling diamonds and a small pearl hanging from a jump ring at the bottom, a wonderful finishing touch! On the back of the piece is a simple bar pin and c-clasp, allowing it to be easily fastened to a favorite garment.
