Victorian 14k/Sterling Sapphire & Diamond Dangle Earrings

A breathtaking pair of sapphire and diamond earrings from the Victorian (ca1880) era! These exquisite mixed metals earrings are crafted in sterling silver and 14k gold, and have an elegant dangling design. A sapphire and diamond link hangs at the base, below an elongated drop design. The deep blue sapphires at the center weigh approximately 0.25ct each (.50ctw combined) and sparkling Mine Cut diamonds (approximately 1.00ctw total, combined) surround the vivid blue centers, forming a stunning "halo" border in a milgrain setting. Additional diamonds drip from the surmount in individual bezel settings. The earrings are complete with simple wires, each stamped with a "14k" purity mark. An outstanding pair of gemstone earrings, they would look magnificent worn on special occasions! 

Measurements: Each earring hangs 1 1/2" long, measures 1/2" across at the widest point.

Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling and gold setting. The sapphires and diamonds are intact, and free of any serious damage and the wires are secure.
