A beautiful spring chain from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This wonderful piece is crafted in 14kt rosy yellow gold to form a fabulous necklace! The chain is comprised of simple curb links with a spring motif separating each link. The necklace fastens at a friction clasp and has a jump ring in the middle of the chain, perfect for hanging a favorite locket or pendant. A beautifully made piece, it is versatile enough to wear every day and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The entire length of the chain measures just less than 26" long. The links measure just over 2/5" long and approximately 1/4" wide. The weight is 60.6 grams.
Condition: The chain is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The spring ring clasp and watch swivel clasp are both secure and in good working condition.
