A lovely pair of drop earrings from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, each earring begins with a circular surmount, which features a dark black agate stone. The earrings then feature a gold rectangular link, which is bordered on both the top and bottom by a small seed pearl. The earrings then feature a large teardrop-shaped agate link. The agate displays a lovely translucent hue, and features a scalloped gold cap. The bottom of each agate features a gold band and an additional black agate bottom. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires. A bold and daring pair, these earrings would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurements:Â Each earring hangs 1 7/8" long and has a width of 3/8" at their widest point.
Condition:Â The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the stones are secure and intact. The earring wires are intact and in working order.
