Victorian 9k Petite Mariner Link Necklace

This sweet necklace has a classic "Gucci-style" design, but hails from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This necklace is made of solid 9k gold and is comprised of petite mariner links (also called "anchor links"). This Gucci-like chain has a rosy-yellow tint to it, a signature of 9k Victorian jewelry. Some of the links have developed a slight patina in the crevices of the mariner links, which gives the chain some depth and character. The links come together at the back with an oversized spring-ring closure and split ring.
