The Story

A breathtaking opal ring from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in vibrant 14k yellow gold, this ring features a gorgeous opal halo! The central stone is an oval-shaped, prong-set opal cabochon, which displays vibrant green and blue flashes. The central cabochon is surrounded by a halo of 12 smaller, prong-set opal cabochons. The stones which comprise the halo display incredible flashes of pink, orange, and yellow. The shoulders of the ring feature a banded-design, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank features 2, illegible maker's mark. A darling piece, this ring would make a stunning addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!

Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.5, but could be easily resized up or down as desired. The opal and diamond centerpiece measures approximately 1/2" tall and 3/8" wide.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the opals are intact and securely set.
