The Story

A beautiful charm bracelet from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! This piece is a wonderful compilation of 6 unique charms. The bracelet begins with a unique chain, which is comprised of woven-knot, moon and star, and padlock links. The first charm of the bracelet depicts a lovely bug, whose abdomen is represented by a six-prong set citrine and whose wings are decorated with bead-set seed pearls. The next charm showcases a wishbone, which is also encrusted with bead-set seed pearls, and a larger, central pearl. The third charm is a highly-intricate golden dragon, whose body is twisting around a prong-set opal. The fourth charm depicts a flying bird, whose wings are encrusted with bead-set seed pearls, and whose mouth holds a prong-set emerald. The firth charm is another smooth and simple wishbone, and features a prong-set aquamarine stone. The sixth and final charm showcases another bird, who is grasping a branch within its mouth. The branch features a single prong-set pearl. The piece secures with a simple push clasp, and is further secured by a figure eight safety mechanism. The tongue of the push clasp is stamped with a "14K" purity mark. A one-of-a-kind piece, this charm bracelet would make a lovely addition to any Victorian-era jewelry collection!

Measurements: The bracelet measures 6 3/4" long. The longest charm hangs 5/8" down from the bracelet.

Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear there is no apparent damage to the gold charms, or chain. All of the stone are secure and intact, and the push clasp and figure eight safety are both in working order.
