An unusual horse leg watch key pendant from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in 14k gold and forms the shape of a 3-dimensional horse's leg with a watch key at the tip. The design is highly detailed, including a horseshoe on the base of the hoof complete with 8 nails, and subtle texture representing its fine, smooth hair near the hoof. The watch key end features a gorgeous floral repoussĂ© etching as well, and the two sections are separated by a movable round bail. The placement of the bail allows the piece to be hung on an angle from a favorite chain, adding a unique touch to the design.
