A fabulous pair of diamond swirl-motif earrings from the Victorian (ca1840s) era! Crafted in vibrant 14k yellow gold, each earring begins with a surmount, which features 2 collet-set rose cut diamonds. The earrings then feature a large, swirl-motif link, which is topped by an additional collet-set rose cut diamond. All of the rose cuts are wonderfully faceted, and catch the light with every turn. Overall, the stones have an approximate total carat weight of .80ctw. The front surface of each swirl-motif link is further decorated with dainty engravings. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires. A phenomenal example of Victorian-era craftsmanship, this pair would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurements: Each earring measures 1 1/2" long (including the earring wires) and have a width of 5/8".
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and all of the diamonds are secure and intact. The earring wires are securely attached and in working order.
