An absolutely stunning diamond and pearl sunburst pin/pendant from the Victorian (ca1880s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, this sunburst-motif pin is centered by a .20ct old European cut diamond, which is held within a prong-setting. The arms of the sunburst are decorated with bead-set seed pearls, which display an incredible milky white luster. The sun also features a row of smooth and simple arms. The backside of the piece features a hidden bail and a simple pin clasp. The backside of the pin/pendant is marked with a "14K" purity mark. A lovely pin/pendant, this piece would look lovely worn on a dainty gold chain or pinned to a favorite blouse!
Measurements: The pin/pendant has a width of 1 1/4" and a height of 1 1/4".
Condition: The overall condition of the pin/pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting. The diamond and all of the pearls are secure and intact. The bail and pin clasp are both secure and in working order.
