The Story
An absolutely phenomenal retro emerald ring from the ca1940s! The ring, which is made of platinum, has a natural cabochon emerald set within it. The stone, which is oval in shape, has exquisite, luscious green color with an exact weight of 6.63ct. The stone is set with single claw prongs and has diamond baguettes on either side. The platinum mounting is smooth and simple. The diamonds have a total approximate weight of 0.15ctw and compliment the emerald wonderfully. Accompanying the ring is a Prestige Gemstone Report issued by AGL (American Gemological Laboratories) in April 2014, which confirms the emerald to be a natural stone of Brazilian provenance. It's an absolutely magnificent ring and would make a perfect addition to any collection!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum mounting or to the emerald and the diamonds are intact.
