A fabulous and bold ring diamond ring from the Early Retro (ca1935) era! Crafted in platinum, the front of this ring is encrusted with sparkling stones. The center of the ring features a vertical row of 5, prong-set old European cut diamonds, which vary slightly in size. The central row of large diamonds is surrounded on both the left and right by a smaller row of prong-set single cut diamonds. The centerpiece also features 10 teardrop-shaped components, which are encrusted with additional bead-set single cut diamonds. The shoulders of the ring feature a banded-design, and also feature small, bead-set single cut diamonds. Overall, the diamonds which decorate the ring have an approximate total carat weight of 3ctw, and display H/J color and VS1-SI1 clarity. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the gallery of the ring features a geometric cutout-design. A striking statement ring, this piece would make a gorgeous addition to any Retro-era jewelry collection!
Measurements:Â The ring is a size 6, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 4.3mm. The front of the ring has a height of 7/8" and a width of 7/8".
Condition:Â The ring is in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. All of the diamonds are secure and intact.
