An exquisite diamond engagement ring from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in platinum, this ring features a central .90ct old mine cut diamond, which is held within a clawed four-prong setting. The diamond displays J color and VS2 clarity. Each shoulder of the ring features 3 single cut diamonds, which graduate in size and have an approximate total carat weight of .05ctw. The bead-set diamonds display H/I color and VS1-VS2 clarity. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped "10% IRID PLAT". The ring is accompanied by a GIA (Gemological Institute of America) Report #2235513817, which provides more information on the center stone. A phenomenal piece, this ring would make a spectacular engagement ring!
Measurements:Ā The ring is a size 7, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.6mm.
Condition:Ā The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to theĀ platinumĀ setting or to any of the diamonds, all of which are secure and intact.
