Retro 14k Gold Sapphire & Diamond Ring

A beautiful diamond and sapphire ring from the retro (ca1940) era! This ring has a unique appearance that mimics a bypass style, with a 1.0ctw French cut sapphire featuring a luscious blue velvet hue next to a 0.75ctw Old Mine cut diamond with H/I color, SI1 clarity. Both stones are in square settings, with the sapphire in a milgrain bezel and the diamond in four white prongs, giving it the illusion that it appears much larger. The stones are accented by curving lines that fade down the shoulder into a simple, plain, wide shank. The ring is marked 14k on the interior of the shank. A classic retro piece, this bypass style ring would make an excellent addition to any collection.  

Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6 3/4 but could easily be re-sized. At widest, the ring's setting measures 11.75mm.

Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting and all of the stones are intact.
