The Story
A fabulous diamond ring from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in platinum, the ring features unique starburst buckle-like design. At the center of the ring is a 0.65 ct, prong-set old European cut diamond with I color and VS2 clarity. The large, central diamond is flanked by 6 single cut diamonds, which are organized in a sunburst like design, radiating outwards and held within bead settings. The center of the ring also features 3 full cut diamonds, which are organized vertically and held within bead settings. Excluding the central diamond, the other stones have an approximate total carat weight of 0.27ctw. Completing the design is a wide band, which is left simple and smooth. The inside of the shank also features a complementary ring guard. A very wearable everyday piece, this Retro ring merges effortlessly into modern day fashion!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 4, but could easily be resized. The band measures 4.76mm wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting or diamonds, all of which are securely set.
