The Story
A colorful pair of earrings from the Retro (ca1940s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold, these earrings begin with a faceted, round amethyst, which is held within a four-prong setting. Each earring then features a larger, lower round amethyst, which is also held within a four-prong setting. The amethyst stones display a rich purple hue, which wonderfully contrasts the yellow gold setting. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires, which each feature a single, three-dimensional gold ball detail. A marvelous pair, these earrings would make a lovely gift for anyone with a February birthday!
Measurements: The earrings hang approximately 1 1/4" long (including the wires) and measure just under 3/8" at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold settings, and all of the amethyst stones are secure and intact. The earring wires are in working order.
