OLD NEWBURY CRAFTERS for CARTIER Vintage Sterling Silver Choker Necklace

 

A striking Vintage necklace (ca1970) designed and handmade by Old Newbury Crafters for Cartier! This fabulous piece displays a simple sterling silver pendant at its center which hangs from a silver choker. The choker is made up of two solid silver sections that meet a jump ring at the front, from which the pendant also hangs. A simple silver hook at the back secures the necklace and completes the sleek and elegant design. The back of the pendant is stamped “CARTIER”, “O.N.C STERLING”, and one section of the choker is stamped with “CARTIER”, “O.N.C STERLING”, "HANDWROUGHT", and an indistinguishable hallmark. The necklace comes with its original red Cartier box. It's a magnificent piece and would make a wonderful addition to any collection!

Measurements: The sterling silver pendant measures approximately 1 3/4" long, slightly less than 3/8" at the widest point and 1/1" at the thickest point. The inner circumference of the choker is 15".

Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the pendant or choker.
