A wonderful diamond, ruby, and pearl heron pin! This lovely piece is crafted in 18k yellow gold and resembles an elegant heron. The torso of the bird is represented by a lustrous piece of pearl, which is backed in yellow gold. The heron also features two, thin gold legs and a darling tail. The long neck and beak of the bird are also crafted in gold, and the eye of the creature is represented by a bezel-set ruby. The tail and neck of the bird are also encrusted with small single cut diamonds, which all rest within bead settings. The back of the bird features a simple pin clasp, and the back of the bird's head is marked "MC" and "750". The leg of the bird is also stamped with a serial number which reads: "10529". A unique pin, this piece would make a lovely addition to any estate jewelry collection!
Measurements: The pin measures approximately 1 1/2" tall, 1 3/8" wide and has a depth of 1/2".
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold setting, and all of the diamonds are secure and intact. The ruby and pearl details are secure, and the pin clasp is intact and in working order.
