The Story
A lovely pair of pearl drop earrings! Crafted in 14k white gold, each earring begins with a dark Tahitian pearl. The Tahitian pearls display an incredible purplish-black luster, and are backed with scalloped 14k backs. Hanging below each dark pearl is an additional creamy white pearl, which rests upon a thin connector. The connector allows the white pearls to move freely, and adds a wonderful fluidity to the earrings. If desired, the white pearl extension could be removed, allowing the Tahitian pearls to be worn as stud earrings. The earrings are completed by simple posts and friction backs, which are stamped with a "14K" purity mark.
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1" long and the pearls have a width of approximately 10mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, posts, or friction backs. All of the pearls and connectors are secure and intact.
