The Story
A beautiful star sapphire flush mount ring from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This stunning ring has a flush-set star sapphire cabochon set amidst a classic platinum flush mounting. The stone exhibits a cornflower blue tone with a strong white star that bounces from side to side with every wag of the finger. The band has wide shoulders and tapers slightly towards the back. The inside of the shank is stamped "10%IRID." and "PLATINUM". This handsome ring would make a fabulous piece for any jewelry fanatic!
Measurements: The ring has a finger size 6.5 but could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting and the star sapphire is secure and intact.
