Edwardian Platinum Diamond + Sapphire 3ctw+ Center

A gorgeous sapphire cabochon ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Handmade and crafted in platinum, this ring adorns a 3ctw+ no-heat Ceylon sapphire cabochon. The sapphire displays a stunning blue hue, complemented by its milgrained bezel setting and enhanced by a halo of 20 sparkling Single Cut diamonds. Two additional Single Cut diamonds flank the sapphire and diamond cluster, one glittering on each side of the split shoulders in a triangular motif, bringing the collective diamond weight to 0.30ctw. The band tapers to a thin, polished band underneath. It would look stunning worn on special occasions and could make an exquisite gemstone engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 5 3/4 but could easily be resized. The ring measures slightly more than 9/16" long, nearly 1/2" wide. When worn, the ring rests approximately 1/4" above the finger.

Condition: The ring is overall in excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the platinum setting. The sapphire is in excellent condition, free of chips and scratches though it does display natural inclusions, typical of a natural and untreated sapphire. All of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
