A stunning sapphire and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18k yellow gold and platinum, this ring features a central, .85ct sapphire. The bezel-set, round cut stone is simply mesmerizing, display a deep, dark blue hue. The sapphire is surrounded by a dainty halo of bead-set single cut diamonds, and the diamonds extend onto the ribbed shoulders of the band. Overall, the diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .90ctw, and display H/I color and VS1-VS2 clarity. The remainder of the gold band is smooth and simple. An elegant piece, this ring would look lovely worn on any hand!
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 5.5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.65mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting. All of the stones are intact and securely set.
