Edwardian 18k/Platinum Australian Sapphire/Diamond Engagement Ring 3.50ct

A fabulous sapphire and diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 18k gold and platinum, this gorgeous piece features an approximately 3.50ct oval shaped sapphire cabochon which rests in a milgrained bezel setting. Two rose cut diamonds are featured on the shoulders of the ring in milgrained bead settings, which are decorated by delicate beadwork. The Australian sapphire displays a gorgeous deep teal hue, characteristic of its geographic origin, that contrasts beautifully against the bright diamond sparkle. The beautiful ring is completed by a smooth band. It would be perfect for an Edwardian lover and could also make a unique gemstone engagement ring!

Measurements: The ring fits a finger size of 6.25 but could be easily resized. When worn, the ring rests about 1/3" above the finger.

Condition: The ring is in overall excellent condition. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold or platinum setting. The sapphire and diamonds are intact and securely set.
