A lovely pair of floral-motif earrings from the Edwardian (ca1910s) era! Crafted in 14k rose gold and sterling silver, each earring begins with diamond surmount. Each surmount features 3, vertically-arranged bezel-set old European cut diamonds. The diamonds vary slightly in size, but are wonderfully faceted. The earrings then feature a floral-motif shaped link, which are each centered by a larger, bezel-set old European cut diamond. Together, the larger diamonds have an approximate total carat weight of .70ctw, and display H color and SI1 clarity. The "petals" of the flower are represented by calibrated, channel-set sapphires, which display a deep, luscious blue hue. The earrings are completed by simple earring wires and lever backs. A marvelous pair, these earrings would be perfect for any special event or occasion!
Measurements: Each earring hangs approximately 1 1/8" long, and measure just under 1/2" at their widest point.
Condition: The overall condition of the earrings is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and sterling silver setting. All of the diamonds and sapphires are intact and securely set. The earring wires and lever backs are secure and in working order.
