A beautiful diamond ring from the Edwardian (ca1900s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and platinum, this ring features 3 sparkling diamond running horizontally across the front of the piece. The central old European cut diamond, which is prong-set, has an approximate carat weight of 1.35ct, and displays I/J color and VS2 clarity. The diamond is complemented on both sides by smaller, prong-set old European cut diamonds, which have an approximate total carat weigh of .70ctw, and display I/J color and SI2 clarity. Uniquely, the bold prongs which secure the diamonds are decorated with dainty milgrain-detailing and texturizing engravings. The gallery of the ring features a "v"-shaped cutout design. Each shoulder of the ring features a small shield-shaped panel, which features a single, bead-set single cut diamond. The shoulders of the ring also feature a scrolling-motif detail, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank features a "14K" purity mark. An elegant and timeless mixed metal ring, this piece would look lovely worn on any hand!
Measurements: The ring is currently a size 4.75, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.2mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold and platinum setting, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
