Victorian Sterling Silver Urn Necklace

A fantastic urn and chain from the Victorian (ca1900) era! This beautiful piece, which is made of sterling silver, depicts a gorgeous 3-dimensional urn which carries a simple yet beautiful design. The urn has a pointed bottom and the body is smooth. It has scrolled arms that rest on either side. The urn hangs from a simple chain which comes together at a simple bail ring that hangs from a sterling silver chain. The chain fastens with a delicate lobster clasp in the back. A charming Victorian piece, this wonderful and sentimental memento would make a special addition to any collection!

Measurements: The necklace measures 10.5" long, including the clasp. The urn charm itself stands 1" tall, and measures about 7/8" wide (from handle to handle).

Condition: The overall condition of the piece is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling silver setting. There is a natural patina on the surface of the setting, which is normal for antique jewelry and adds to its unique beauty and appearance. However, it can be polished if a brighter look is desired.
