Art Deco German Silver Square Cut Crystal Necklace 55"

A gorgeous crystal necklace from the Art Deco (ca1920) era! This elegant necklace is comprised of square cut faceted crystals that connect to form a long, flowing chain. Each crystal is faceted on both sides, which intensifies the light-reflecting quality for an incredible sparkling effect! The crystals are contained within open German silver bezels with hidden prongs on back, allowing the light to pass through on both sides. The necklace does not clasp however it is long enough to easily double or triple and there is a larger jump ring which is perfect for attaching a complimentary locket or pendant. This ring is stamped "GERMANY". A simply stunning piece, it has a very feminine look that merges seamlessly between day and night. It would make a fabulous addition to any jewelry collection!

Measurements: The entire length of the necklace measures 55". Each crystal measures 1/4" in diameter.

Condition: The overall condition of this necklace is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the sterling setting or to any of the crystals, and the clasp is secure and in good working condition.
