This gorgeous diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era is a signed piece by Maison Birks! Crafted in 18k white gold, this ring features a central .80ct old European cut diamond, which is held within a bead-setting and surrounded by a square-shaped frame. The diamond displays H/I color and VS2 clarity. The shoulders of the ring feature a "step" design, and are encrusted with bead-set single cut diamonds. The gallery of the ring features subtle filigree-detailing and dainty engravings. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. The inside of the shank features an original engraving, which reads: "J.P. to A.C. 6-22-29". The inside of the shank also features the Maison Birks signature. A lovely Art Deco-era ring, this piece would make a lovely engagement ring!
Measurements:Â The ring is a size 5.5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.5mm.
Condition:Â The overall condition of the ring is excellent. There is no apparent damage to the white gold setting, and all of the diamonds are secure and intact.
