The Story
A stunning jadeite ring from the Art Nouveau (ca1910s) era! This beautiful piece is crafted in vibrant 14k yellow gold and features an artistic oval-shaped jade plaque, which is held within a four-prong setting. The natural, untreated stone displays a wonderful vivid green color marbled with a milky, pale green hue throughout. The surface of the jade is intricately hand-carved to resemble blooming flowers and twisting foliage. Each shoulder of the dainty ring features a small blooming flower, and the remainder of the band is smooth and simple.
Measurements: The ring has a finger size of 5.5 but could be resized if desired. The jade plaque measures 3/4" tall and 1/2" wide.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the yellow gold setting or to the carved jade plaque, which is intact and securely set.
