The Story
An elegant engagement ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 18k white gold, this ring features a solitaire, .35ct old European cut diamond. The sparkling stone, which is held within a milgrained bezel-setting, displays J color and SI2 clarity. The diamond is surrounded by a hexagonal-shaped frame, and the remainder of the piece's centerpiece features geometric cutouts and dainty floral and foliage-motif engravings, which carry onto the mounting's shoulders. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple, and the inside of the shank is stamped with an "18K" purity mark and with a maker's mark which reads: "MGL".
Measurements: The ring is a size 5, but could easily be resized. The band has a width of 1.13mm.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold setting, and all of the diamonds are intact and securely set.
