The Story
An absolutely exquisite "belly" bracelet from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! This feminine piece is crafted in 14k white gold, and is comprised of 8, oblong links, which are decorated with highly-intricate filigree-detailing. The links are attached to one another by small ellipse-shaped connectors, which are decorated with very subtle engravings. The center of the bracelet features a larger, "belly" centerpiece, which is comprised of a bezel-set, reverse carved rock quartz crystal plaque. The center of the "belly" link features a small bead-set diamond, which is further encircled by a diamond-shaped milgrained frame. The bezel-setting is also decorated with delicate, texturizing-engravings. The piece secures with a unique lobster claw clasp, which is also decorated with texturizing-engravings. A bold example of Art Deco glamour, this piece would blend seamlessly into any antique jewelry collection!
Measurements: The bracelet measures approximately 7 1/6" long, and the "belly" centerpiece of the bracelet is approximately 1/2" wide and 7/8" tall.
Condition: The overall condition of the bracelet is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the white gold filigree links. The rock quartz crystal and diamond are both secure and intact, and the lobster claw clasp is secure and in working order.
