A fabulous sapphire and diamond ring from the Art Deco (ca1920s) era! Crafted in 14k yellow gold and platinum, this ring features a central oval-cut Ceylon sapphire. The dark, vibrant blue sapphire is held within a smooth and simple bezel setting and has a carat weight of 1.25ctw. The sapphire is surrounded by a border of old single cut and old mine cut diamonds, which are bead-set. The diamonds display H/K color and VS1-SI1 clarity, and have an approximate total carat weight of 1.4ctw. The remainder of the band is smooth and simple. A lovely piece, this ring would make a lovely Art Deco-era engagement ring!
Measurements: The ring is a finger size 7, but it could easily be re-sized.
Condition: The overall condition of the ring is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold setting, and the sapphire and diamonds are all secure and intact.
