The Story
A beautiful equestrian inspired pin from the Edwardian (ca1910) era! This petite bar pin is made of silver and features a charming galloping horse and jockey centerpiece.  Delicate rose cut diamonds cover the surface of the horse's body, with a single ruby cabochon representing its eye. The jockey wears an enameled red cap, a white blue shirt, and white breeches with tall riding boots. In his hands he grasps a set of reins, which are represented by fine gold wire. The centerpiece rests atop a smooth bar, with a secure pin clasp on the back. The petite size of the piece adds to its wonderful charm. Perfect for the equestrian enthusiast, it would look lovely pinned to a favorite garment!
Measurements: The bar that forms the base of the pin measures 1 1/8" long and 1/16" thick. The horse and jockey centerpiece measures 1/2" wide and tall, and approximately 1/4" thick.
Condition: The overall condition of the pin is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the silver setting or gold and enamel accents. All of the rose cut diamonds are intact, and the pin clasp is secure and in good working condition.
