A fabulousĀ gold horseshoe necklaceĀ from the Victorian (ca1880) era! This beautiful piece is made of 15kt gold (indicating English origin) and has a striking three dimensional design. The horseshoe has a smooth yellow gold surface with a raised rose goldĀ nail design. The horseshoe hangs from a 14kt yellow gold chain thatĀ fastens in the back with a simple spring ringĀ clasp. The back of the horseshoe is set in rose gold and is stamped with several hallmarks, including and anchor, "15", "625", "BJS" and "M." A very fashionable and attractive piece, it blends seamlessly into modern day fashion and would look perfect worn everyday! Measurements: The horseshoe measures 1 1/4" tall, 1 1/8" wide at the widest point, and has a depth of 1/8". The chain measures approximately 18.5" long, but can also be worn 16.5" long with an extension in the back.
