The Story
A fun and funky pair of devil cufflinks from the Retro (ca1940) era! Each cufflink features a 3-dimensional devil's face made of carved ivory. The animated devils have a bold appearance with exaggerated facial features, including curved horns, black hair, square-shaped eyes and wide open mouths with pointed teeth. On the back of each devil's face is a 12kt gold-filled airplane back, which is stamped "12/20 GF PAT 2472958" on the side. These creative cufflinks would make a fun and unique addition to any collection!
Measurements: Each devil face measures 1" tall, 5/8" wide, and 3/8" thick. The airplane backs measure approximately 3/4" long when folded, and 1/2" long when opened.
Condition: The overall condition of the cufflinks is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no apparent damage to the gold filled airplane backs or carved ivory faces.
