The Story
A beautiful Vintage baby grand piano charm from the 1950's. This wonderful piece is made of 14kt yellow gold and has fabulously detailed accents including hand etched keys, a scrolled music stand and vibrant rubies and sapphires which line the top of the piano. The lid of the piano has a spring hinged opening which clasps securely on the side to stay closed. When open, the interior reveals fine gold "strings" as well as 2 pearls, 2 rubies and a sapphire. The underside of the piano is stamped "14K". The charm hangs from a small simple gold bail, making it perfect for hanging from a necklace or bracelet. It's a wonderful piece and would make a fantastic addition to any collection!
Measurements: The piano hangs approximately 1 1/4" long and is slightly more than 3/4" wide. The charm itself has a pennyweight of 6.1dwt.
Condition: The overall condition of the charm/pendant is excellent. Besides normal surface wear, there is no serious damage to the gold piano and all of the pearls, sapphires, and ruby stones are intact. The bail, hinge and clasp are all secure and in good working condition.
Measurements: The piano hangs approximately 1 1/4" long and is slightly more than 3/4" wide. The charm itself has a pennyweight of 6.1dwt.
